We were so busy yesterday. We had a TON of errands to run. We went to WW, where I gained 3.4, then to buy groceries. I did NOT want to buy groceries over the weekend, I wanted to do things I enjoy. We ran home to put up the cold stuff, then it was to BJ's. After BJ's we were home for a bit, then we went to the Farmer's Market in Harrisburg. I needed some yellow squash for supper last night and some zucchini for supper tonight. We came home and made a delicious supper: pork chops with apples and Stove Top, squash and green beans. Brianna, Miss I Don't Eat Squash, actually ate the squash!! After supper we scooted to the library before they closed at 7. Brianna is reading like a mad woman, I can't keep her in books. Then, to Great Clips, both kids needed haircuts. After all the running we came home and made Smores. Then Brianna and I played Skip Bo. She is learning the game, but seemed to enjoy it. I told her I was ready for another couple games tonight. I was very excited that we got all that done yesterday so we can be at home for a few days. It was a LOT of running, but it was all things that needed to be done and I would rather get it all done in one day rather than spread it out over several days.
Here's the recipe for the squash I made last night.
Simple Squash
