Saturday was busy. There was some free time, but not a whole lot.

Here are the girls outside the Juliette Gordon Low house. We had a morning tour.

The plaque in the square for Juliette Gordon Low. It's across the street from her home.

The girls in front of Daisy's (Daisy is Juliette Gordon Low's nickname)house.

Our great tour guide Ashley. She was so good and took a lot of time during the slide show answering questions and pointing things out.

Brianna found this plant in the garden at the Low house. She told me I had to take a picture of it for Alex.

The girls pining each other with Friendship Pins. As they placed the pin on each other, they had to tell a good memory they have about the person. It was sweet.

The girls in front of one of two gates the Daisy made herself. I learned a lot about her. She was quite the artist, painted, ironwork, there is a highboy the she burned some dragons in, all kinds of stuff.

The lady that made Savannah Roses for all the girls. She did a good job as well, showing the girls how they are made.

Brianna with her Savannah Rose.

I thought these little guys were cute with their leis on!
After lunch and a little free time, we headed back to Juliette Gordon Low for an afternoon session. We did several art activities. Janis was really good and patient with us all. She even threw in a bonus ghost story. Apparently, Daisy's grandmother haunts the home and will call out the names of some of the staff members. I guess she's just checking in to make sure the house is still in good order.

Guess where we ate dinner?!?! That's right, The Lady and Sons. Brianna and I walked down a little early to check out the store that is next to the restaurant before we ate. I got a shirt that says, "Hey Y'all" and got one for Cragan that says, "Got Biscuits." Oh my, the food was sooooooooooo good!!!!!!

Here's my plate from the buffet, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, lima beans, green beans, salad (with pickled green tomatoes), hoe cake, and a garlic cheese biscuit. Okay, these were the BEST lima beans I have ever had in my mouth. The pickled green tomatoes were great too.

One happy girl waiting on Gooey Butter Cake after supper. We had Chocolate Oreo Gooey Butter Cake.

After supper we had to walk off our supper, so we headed to River Street to see what was going on down there. I saw this bumper sticker and thought it was hilarious.
After we walked around we had a scheduled ghost carriage tour. The tour guide did a really good job. We couldn't figure out her accent though. Sometimes it was Scottish or Irish, not really sure. Brianna was all excited! She looked forward to the ghost tour for two weeks. Anyway, for an hour, Tess and Robin the horse took us around telling us ghost stories.
