Monday Stuff

Yesterday was a true Monday.  Before 1:00 I had to do some preschool stuff with The Littles, wash laundry, walk on the treadmill (which turned into a run cause I was MAD), get a shower, get The Littles a nap, and get them ready to take Bri to the doctor.  Then at the doctor's office we had to wait for 30 in the exam room before the doctor showed up.  Last night I was excited about new shows coming on.  I love this time of year when there are no more reruns.  We watched The Big Bang Theory and then at 9, I watched Heroes.  Amos got me addicted to Heroes and I normally don't understand the first few episodes  of the season, then things start clicking into place.  Last night was no exception.  I was a little confused.

I weighed in yesterday and lost 2 more pounds.  I did pretty well last week.  There was ice cream in the house and that is always a downfall for me.  I don't think there is anymore, so no more afternoon ice cream.  But there are cupcakes.  Yesterday was Olivia's birthday and she wanted chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing.  I think I am going to send the rest of the cupcakes with Brian to work tomorrow.  I just can't resist, I think chocolate should be a food group, for me it is.

Brianna is supposed to go to my mom's this weekend to watch Adrienne on homecoming court. The weatherman is calling for rain, so don't know if she will go or not.  She doesn't know about it, so she won't be disappointed.

I have a prayer request for you guys.  My dad's friend Jimmy Walls had back surgery in Asheville on Friday and is not doing well.  I got an email from my mom this morning saying he is having some complications, some swelling, and they have all kinds of tubes in him.  His back is fine, but it seems to be other things that are causing the problems.  Jimmy is the Assistant Chief at my dad's fire department and his boys are the ones that the Puddin Boys festival is in memory of.  I just pray that his doctors figure out what is causing all these problems and can fix it.  I also pray that his wife Doris stays safe and strong while he is in the hospital.
