I check out a blog daily written by a lady from church whose husband passed away in a wreck recently. I don't know her, we have never met, but I pray hard for her everyday. I pray for God to help her. I have a lot of thoughts about why I pray so hard for a complete stranger and one of the answers is this: as a mom, I want to wrap her in my arms and make it all go away. There are a few other reasons, but I haven't sorted those out enough to actually blog about them. She is having such a hard time with the holidays and just redefining who she is. Check her out at:

I also subscribe to a CaringBridge blog. Adam is a little guy from Harrisburg who has a rare form of cancer. My friend Jenny got me to reading this after she told me about an entry where mom was ranting and wondering why her baby had to endure all of this. Adam is in and out of the hospital and thankfully is home right now. Adam is a true warrior and is fighting with all he has.
