My Girls

You regular readers know that on Sunday's I teach the middle school girls at church. We have a main topic that either Travis or Jason talk to all the kids about, then we divide into groups. I love my middle school girls. I love talking to them. Often I question whether I am supposed to be there with them, whether I am benefitting them, really what is best for them. Then one of them pulls me back in. I get a note in the mail or one asks for some one on one time. That is what gets my heart and makes me know that I am supposed to be with "my girls." Everything else aside, I volunteer with Project 252, because I feel that God has called me to be with these girls. They hold a special place in my heart and I want nothing but the best for them. I hope that something I say each Sunday sticks with the girls.
