Back in the Swing

We are slowly but surely getting back in the swing of things around here. Last week's Spring Break was so nice. Now it's back to school, getting up early, making lunches, Olivia, and a little more structure. I have this horrible cough due to allergies. It's much worse at night, of course cause that's bedtime. How can my allergies be bothering me if I have not stopped taking my Zyrtec?!?! I walked outside Monday and could just see the pollen swirling around. We need a really good rain to knock this stuff out. We were supposed to get some both Monday and Tuesday, but didn't.

I am in the middle of reading "Have a New Kid by Friday." It's a really good book, has a lot of practical advice, and isn't geared toward a two parent home (which is good for some of my single mom friends). I also picked up Betrayed, the second in the House of Night series, Monday and finished it last night. It's about vampires and is written for young adults, but I would rate it PG 15 or 16. It's written for older kids than Twilight was. It's a good series though. The authors of The House of Night series were on Rachael Ray Monday and it's a mother and daughter team. Now, I'm stuck on the waiting list for Number 3 at the library.
