Tonight is the last episode of ER. I love watching ER. I really got hooked in college. My roommate Angie and I would set our clocks and plan to be watching. I don't think we missed an episode. I even watch the re-runs on TNT. When I watch it tomorrow I am planning on having the tissue handy.
Also, I heard last night that Guiding Light will air it's last episode in September. I have watched the soaps on CBS as long as I can remember. My babysitter watched them, my Nana and my mom. Brianna was asking me about watching the soaps just over the weekend. I told her it's just something I have always done. I don't watch Guiding Light as much anymore, but DVR The Young and the Restless everyday.

Now, I am tore up about the Guiding Light. I used to watch that show with my grandmas!!! I grew up with the Bower family. I don't get to watch it much anymore (maybe twice a month) but it's like catching up with family. I plan to start the DVRs up and get these last few months.
Maybe remaining calm with Alex is the trick. I know that with one of 'my children', you had to trick them into doing things you wanted done. Make them think it was their idea (plant the seed and leave it alone). The more I fussed, the more stubborn the child! You'll get it and so will he. Like you said, a little progress at a time.
Can't wait to see you all Easter.
Love,
MOM
