Proctor Part Deux

I know, I'm a sucker.  I was roped into proctoring the EOG retests.  Retests are a whole different story from the first round of EOG's.  There were a couple of kids who went to sleep before they finished the test.  I spoke to the administrator about it and he said, "It's fine.  If they are about half way and want a little rest, I will wake them up.  We've got all day."  Did he really look at me and say "we've got all day"?
That's the biggest bunch of crap!  I've got a life and stuff to do, plus I've got a kid to get off the bus at 3:30.  I don't have all day.  You may have all day, but I don't.

Here's the other thing that kind of ticked me off.  I wanted to shake these kids and make them care.  I wanted to ask them why they act like they don't care.  What in their world has lead them to believe that giving up and not caring is okay?  Seriously, one kid was about halfway finished about 10 minutes before official time ended.  By the time official time ended, he was finished!  His score may be a little better if I had taken the test for him and I honestly didn't know how to work not one problem that I looked at!
