Weekend Update

We had a wild and crazy weekend.  Friday morning I went to Kindergarten for Muffins with Mom.  Mrs. Froehlich had put table cloths and flowers on the tables for the moms.  When we got there, Alex pulled my chair out for me.  He's such a gentleman.  The class had made little books for their moms.  This is what I have loved about the kids teachers: they had always done something special for Mother's Day.  I still have pottery pieces Bri made in Kindergarten and first grade.  Those kinds of gifts are the best kinds.  After breakfast I went to get groceries.  Then, it was back to Kindergarten to keep an eye on the class so the teacher could go to a luncheon.  Bri had a friend spend the night Friday night.  I think they were both tired and went to sleep pretty early.  Alex slept with me, since Brian worked third.  I had to wake him up and reposition him during the night because he was punching me in the arm and his feet were on the nightstand.

Saturday morning we went to another one of Bri's friends softball game.  It was such a good game and they won in the last inning.  That afternoon two of her other friends came over, so we had 4 tween girls in the house.  Alex and I escaped outside and let them have the run of the house.  Bri's friend Kinsey just makes me laugh.  When her mom came to pick her up she brought me a hanging basket.  It was so nice and thoughtful!

Sunday was spent my favorite way: in pajamas on the couch!

This week I will be missing in action.  I am proctoring EOG's at the middle school in the mornings and then I am going to swing by to give Alex's teacher a potty break afterward.  She will have no break from the kids since it's EOG week, the specials teachers will be administering and proctoring the tests.
