What a busy, busy weekend. Friday night I dropped Bri off with her Girl Scout troop and leaders and they went camping. They left 45 minutes late, but the girls were raring to go!
Saturday Alex and I headed out super early. Cragan had her Olympics for her gymnastics. She was so cute! Every time she did a roll or flip she would hold her hands up and say, "Ta-da!" After we left there Momma and Daddy took us to the Dairy Goat Festival. There are some things that ONLY happen in Rutherford County. Where else can you eat goat milk ice cream, while watching goats being groomed and listening to ghost hunters asking people if they have had a "paranormal experience?" Alex was asking about the goats udders, expect he kept saying "gutters." It was so funny. While we were in the car with Momma and Daddy going to gymnastics and the goat festival Alex and Daddy were talking about how to make a pencil launcher with compressed air. Of course, we stopped by Nana's, or we would have been in trouble. As we were heading home we stopped by to play with Cragan for a bit. She fixed my hair and said she was going to "brave" (braid) it for me. Alex and Amos went to rent the movie Jaws. Alex learned about the composer for the music at school and has been wanting to see the movie since. When we got home we stopped by Fuel Pizza for a supper date. Alex got to watch a horse race while we were waiting for our food.
Sunday we were home. Bri came home around lunch time. She is so tired we haven't heard much about camping. Just heard that they had to change cabins because someone sprayed something that attracted ants. Brian smoked a chicken that we had for supper. It was good! He bought himself an early Farther's Day grill/smoker.
