Weekend Update

Sorry the weekend update is late.  I even thought about not doing one this week.  I was busy, busy yesterday and didn't have time to sit down and tell you all about our action packed long weekend.

Friday Bri's friend K walked home from school with us and we headed to the pool.  I love it when our pool opens.  The kids play so hard and sleep so good!  I like the second part the best!  Anyway, they had a great time playing and now that they are in school they both knew kids from the neighborhood that were there.  When the girls were getting their clothes changed, Bri was coming out of her room and caught her little toe on her door frame.  Yes, she broke it.  While the girls were downstairs there was a Magic Eraser on the table.  K asked what it was and I told her.  Then, I showed her what it was.  I wrote on the table with a Sharpie and then wiped it off with the Magic Eraser.  Then Bri showed her how it takes marks off the walls.  K was amazed, so guess what was in her birthday bag from Ms. Stephanie.  Yep, I added some Magie Erasers to her gift!

Saturday Bri went to Speed Street with her friend K.  (I really like K and her family.)  Then the girls came here to go swimming.  When we took K home we talked to her mom and sister for a while.

Sunday, the kids were exhausted!  They were worn out from playing the pool for two days.  Alex slept until 9:45!  He never sleeps that late!  We really just rested and relaxed.

Monday we babysat Sonya and Cragan.  Sonya had knee surgery Wednesday and needed some help getting up and with Cragan while Amos worked.  Cragan is so funny and so much fun.  Sonya and I laughed at Cragan saying Bri's name.  After supper Bri and I went to the middle school to paint the rock for K's birthday.  Alex and Brian went fishing.  Alex came home and told me he caught more fish than Brian.
