Whew, where did the weekend go? Although on weekends when Brian has to work and the kids are out of school, really there is not a lot of difference between Saturday and Wednesday. Friday night we made these Fruit Snacks. We used the recipe that used fruit juice, in particular grape and cranberry. It was so super easy! The kids did these themselves, with mom supervision.
Saturday we went to the pool in the morning. Then, in the afternoon, I had a stroke of genius! I told the kids to go to their rooms for quiet time. For an hour, the house was completely quiet! The big one even went to sleep.
Sunday we ran a couple of errands. I found a book that I can't wait to dig into. It's titled American Sniper and it's written by the guy who has the most sniper kills in US military history. I just started it this morning and would like to read all day! We ended the weekend eating ice cream made by Brian.
