I had a boy filled weekend! Bri went to Camp MawMaw on Thursday. She won't be back home until Tuesday. Friday, Alex wanted to go to Carowinds. I told him when Bri went to MawMaw's I would take him. I just didn't know that it would be 5,000 degrees out! It was hot, but a promise is a promise. He was determined to ride Thunder Road. He did it too! He was so excited He didn't want to ride it again, but said maybe next time. After I bribed him with and ICEE to get out of Carowinds we came home to play games. We played games all afternoon, even ordered pizza for supper.
Saturday we ran several errands. I'm liking living so close to Trader Joes' and Earth Fare. I've never gone to an Earth Fare before Tuesday. When we were there Saturday, I found okra chips! When we went to Charleston in April we found some okra chips at the market. They are so good!!
Sunday afternoon we went to the mall in Pineville. While the boys were looking at tools and stuff I walked around the mall and people watched. I love watching people in public. There was a guy getting his eyebrows threaded. I thought it was odd that a man was getting his eyebrows threaded, but noticed something else odd. He was crying! I've been told that threading is more painful than waxing. I guess that is the truth! It was so funny.
