Weekend Update

This was a Brian is working weekend.  So, that means the weekend was not much different from any weekday.  Friday morning we got up early to go cut the grass at the house in Concord.  I cut grass while Brian trimmed.  Of course I stepped in fire ants!  I was good and even wore tennis shoes, but still got bit up!  That means by the time we got home I needed a Benadryl.  So, I slept a little bit in the afternoon.

Saturday we went to Harrisburg for stamp club.  Alex started not feeling good.  He ran a low grade fever and had a runny nose.  That's it, no other symptoms.  After stamp club we had to run to buy groceries.  Bri pushed Alex around in the buggy while I loaded up the other buggy.  We spent the rest of the day/night at home.

Sunday, Alex felt much better!  We did let him lay around and rest to make sure he was feeling better.  By the afternoon I knew he was 100%, so I took them to the pool.  We weren't there long.  It was getting cloudy and we had walked up, so I didn't want to get caught in a downpour on the walk home.  For supper, I made parmesan chicken.  I just added Parmesan cheese to the Panko coating I use.  After supper we had to run an errand for Brian and Alex needed new swim shoes for the pool.

This morning when Brian was on his way out the door for work he called me to the door and said something only Brian would say.  He said, "Look how much I've read in my calculator manual."  Seriously, who reads a calculator manual?!
