I've been missing this week! I fell into the black hole of counting fundraiser money. The middle school band had a fundraiser at the beginning of the year and I somehow got roped into helping count. It has been fun getting to know a mom I didn't know and the band teacher. Today I was still there when Bri's jazz band came in for class. Well of course I got roped into staying to listen. Mrs. Reese was telling some of the instrument sections they were to loud and although she was talking about music, what she said stuck with me. She told the class to "Know your place I'm the world and serve it well."
This is what I get for blogging from my phone! The quote should say, "Know your place IN the world and serve it well."
