Playing in the Dirt

Yesterday was my day to volunteer in Alex's class.  I can't tell you all how much I like his teacher.  She is very down to earth and funny.  Anyway, when I came into the room yesterday she told me that another parent was coming in to help the class plant bulbs in a flower box she has outside her door.  Now, I am not much of a gardner, so I was going to let this mom do her thing!  Somehow, the nurse and Mrs. Murillo volunteered me to go out and help.  So, I spent the next 30 to 45 minutes with my hands in the dirt helping the kids dig down and plant their bulbs.  The kids loved it!
