Friday night we had to go out to the middle school for the Medieval Masquerade. It was a fundraiser for the NY trip. The band and orchestra played and the dance class danced. They had some audience participation. Thanks to Bri's Language Arts teacher, Alex got to participate in the paddle ball contest. The best way for a 6-year old little brother to embarrass a 12-year old sister is for him to be a participant in an activity in front of her friends. I have video to post later in the week!
Saturday Sonya and I took Momma out to lunch for her birthday. We went to Cheesecake Factory!!! I was so excited. I had never eaten there. I got the chicken tacos and a piece of key lime cheesecake. It was delicious! After lunch we walked around SouthPark Mall for a bit. We found Alex a new Lego box, the one we got him last year was full. We also found a case for my new phone, and some scarves. It really was a fun day. We laughed and talked.
Sunday Bri and I went on an adventure to find supplies for her science project that is due next week. I thought there was a Michaels in Pineville, but they had moved to the Rea Road area, so that's where we wound up. A couple hours later, we finally had everything we needed. After supper we worked on cutting her styrofoam ball. I was thankful Brian had just the tool we need to cut a fourth of the styrofoam away!
This week, I plan on posting some pictures that I haven't shared. The computer wasn't connecting to the hard drive where the pictures were.
