Mary

I've been fascinated with Mary, the mother of Jesus, for a couple years now.  When Robin and I taught middle school girls at church I researched her and learned a good bit about her.  When she was around 12, Bri's age now, she was betrothed to Joseph.  About a year later, at around 13, Jesus was born.  I was 24 when Bri was born and can't imagine what was in Mary's mind when the angel told her she would be the mother of the Son of God.  What immense responsibility she must have felt!  How scared must she have been.  This has always been one of my favorite Christmas songs and this version is wonderful.
