What a weekend! Bri was home with an upset stomach on Friday. We stayed home and helped Brian write a paper for his class.
Saturday she was much better. We headed to Siemens to let Alex see Santa. He was so excited about getting to see Santa. After that we went shopping. We got some Christmas shopping done. Alex got some new Crocs, a pair for now and a pair to wrap up for Christmas. While we were out I finally found a watch that I like. I have been looking for one for a while. I haven't worn one since the kids were born, it always seemed to pinch them, or they would play with it. It was wonderful to have all four of us together for the entire day! It's been a long time since Brian could join in our antics.
Sunday afternoon, we were home and cleaned the house a bit. Brian had some people he knows from work coming over. The guy had a computer he needs Brian to look at. It was the man that gave Brian his job over in maintenance. Brill has since retired. He and his wife were meeting up with some other Siemens retirees for supper, so they invited us along. It was so funny listening to the conversations of all the retired folks.
We are gearing up for a crazy busy week. I'm going to try to schedule some posts tonight. I am volunteering at Bri's school two full days this week, my regular two afternoons at Alex's school and then one day for house errands. I'm tired just talking about it!
