Weekend Update

We are in the middle of a long weekend.  The kids are out of school Monday for a holiday and Tuesday for a teacher workday.  It has been a fun weekend so far.  Friday afternoon Bri's friend came home with us and ended up spending the night.  As I was sitting downstairs with the girls, I was thanking God that the girls are who they are.  They don't apologize for who they are, they aren't changing who they are to fit anyone else.

Saturday Brian and Alex headed to the old house to pay the guy who painted it for us.  While they were gone the girls and I went to get a manicure.  After getting pampered at the nail salon we went to the mall and got lunch.  Saturday afternoon Bri had another friend join them and they played the One Direction game that she got for Christmas.  Which was wonderful, because I know nothing about One Direction and couldn't answer the questions on the game if I had to.

Sunday was a pretty relaxed day.  Bri had an appointment at the Y so she can join me in classes and on the fitness floor.  Alex was Brian's shadow for most of the day.  At one time they were both sitting at Brian's desk doing homework.  We wrapped up the day watching Big Miracle, which is a wonderful movie.
