Weekend Update

We have had the craziest weekend!  I meant to get this uploaded earlier, but we had internet issues.

Friday night Brian was home so he and Alex went to Home Depot to toodle around.

Saturday we went to visit my Nana.  We also got to visit with my mom and dad for a bit.  When we were at the nursing home visiting Nana Alex was grabbed by a lady who told him how much she loved him and how they would be best friends forever.  I told him in the car that I was proud of him for not running away.  I knew he was freaked out, but he stood there and let her hold his hand.

Sunday morning the kids cooked me breakfast.  It was the first time Bri had cooked eggs on the stove.  Alex was in charge of the toast and when it popped up he said, "OH, Bazinga."  I guess it surprised him when it came out of the toaster.  After a trip to Target we decided to do some yard work.  We worked outside all day!  We got a lot accomplished and hopefully we will have some nice soft grass to show for it. During all the aerating the yard we clipped the phone line not once but several times.  AT&T was lazy and didn't bury the line deep enough.
