Friday night Bri went to a movie with a friend. Alex stayed home and we made s'mores and lit sparklers.
Saturday afternoon I took the kids to see Monsters University. Bri has been asking for more responsibility, so while they were in their movie I watched The Heat. I was just a theatre away and felt guilty for a bit. They said their movie was good and mine was too! Their writing assignment on Monday was to write a review and convince me to go see the movie. (Yes, we are still doing school work over the summer. Alex NEEDS to work on his handwriting.)
Sunday we were home. The weather was yucky so we just hung out reading and the kids played.
