Weekend Update and Toffles

We had a super busy weekend and I ended up working in the front office at the middle school Monday.

Friday the kids and I went to the Southern Christmas Show.  Bri and the pep band played in the afternoon.  It was the second year we went with the band.  After they played we came home and made supper super quick.  Then, we met the Girl Scouts at the movies to see Catching Fire.  It was really good!  We were surprised that it was as good as Hunger Games.

Saturday Bri went to Algebra tutoring for most of the day.  Bri's Algebra teacher is the BEST!  He really builds her up and tells her how smart she is.  I really don't think girls hear that enough.  Right after I dropped her off I went to get a hair cut.  After I picked her up we were home for the rest of the weekend.

Now, on to toffles.  What is a toffle you ask?  It is tater tots cooked in the waffle iron.  They come out crunchy and delicious!  Oh my gosh, they were so good!  Bri came up with the name.  Try it, they are so, so good!
