Band Concert

Tonight was Bri's band concert.  They played extremely well.  I hear her play all the time when she practices at home.  But, when you hear the whole band together, you realize just how great they are.  I always get a little teary when they play.  I guess it's because band means so much more to us.  I think she has four more performances for the year and then we will be getting ready for next year.  She received the music for All District band and will be practicing it over the summer and then auditioning in January.  Other than them playing my favorite part of the night was when Brian met us at the door with flowers.  She hugged him and thanked him for taking time away from his take home exam to come hear her.
