Blessed

I have been very blessed to have been able to work with two fabulous teachers at Winget Park Elem.  Mandy Froehlich poured her heart into Alex and brought him such a long way academically.  Darnell Murillo opened her classroom to me and let me do my former teacher thing by working with small groups.  Don't think she didn't teach Alex anything, she did!  She taught him his curriculum and some important life skills: how to work with a group, and sometimes we have to be the bigger person and say sorry even if we didn't do anything wrong.

Bri has had mostly great teachers at SouthWest.  She really struggled through 6th grade, but has blossomed in 7th grade.  She seems to be able to deal with her anxieties better.  Her teachers have been understanding of these anxieties.

I'm sad to leave 1st and 7th grades, but am looking forward to what 2nd and 8th grades hold.
