Wednesday

Brianna got her first black eye Wednesday. Compliments of her brother. He was playing with blocks and hit her in the face with them. I don't think he meant to, but there are times when he would totally do it on purpose.

Alex helped Brian fix some things. He was all about the screwdrivers and sockets. He actually lost a socket. He had such a good time being Daddy's little helper.

I am ready to get back to our routine. It has totally thrown me off having Brianna at home, but it has been nice. She is such a big help with the little kids.

Wednesday was the first time I have ever left my kids alone with a teenager. Liz came over to keep the kids while I went to a dentist appointment. I knew they were in good hands, so I didn't even worry about them that much. I think since I stay home with them, it is harder for me to leave them in someone else's care. I am just so used to taking care of them myself, but it's nice to know I can leave them in good hands!

The Novocaine at the dentist's office has an odd effect on me. It makes me so cold. I wore a sweatshirt and slept on a heating pad last night. The heating pad was for my jaw and to keep me warm. My jaw is still bothering me, but it feels some better after using the heating pad.

Both the kids have runny noses. I will have to start Brianna back on her Claritin. She hates the taste, but it really helps her allergies. We are having an at home day today.
