First Day

Today is the first day of summer vacation and my kids are already getting on each other's nerves. It probably didn't help the matter that they were both awake at 6:30. It's going to be a long summer!

Yesterday was Bri's last day of school. I picked her up at 11, so she didn't have to go all day. At her award's ceremony she won the Striving to be the Best Award, she thought it was Starving to be the Best and the Citizenship Award. That's what last weeks note was about. They wanted parents to know the children were receiving an award, so they could try to be there. She had a great teacher this year. Mrs. Daniels was really caring and supportive. It scares me that in a couple of months Bri will be taking the EOG pretest and will be in third grade.

The Slip and Slide party went well yesterday. Liz, Joey, Nicole and Beth are such great kids and were careful with Brianna and The Littles around.
