We went to Becca's fifth grade graduation last night. It's official Becca is officially a middle schooler. The principal got angry because the parents were clapping. Why is it a problem for parents to get excited and express themselves? Let them be proud of their babies. I know it's always a problem at graduation time. Parents making too much noise and other parents can't hear their child's name. The announcer should wait until the cheering is over and let the parents have their moment. I don't think administrators remember that graduation is not only about the students, it's also about parents who have helped with homework and projects. The principal also made a lot of parents angry last night, she was speaking to adults like we were children. At DARE graduation she called the parents down! I'm glad Brianna's principal is a little more laid back.
I learned that Brian has a new trait. He can put a whole cupcake in his mouth! That man never ceases to amaze me.
Today is the last day of school for Brianna. We are having an ice cream and slip and slide party this afternoon. Alex is ready to "sip and side." Stay tuned to find out what the note from the school was about!
