I am also weird about plans. I am such a planner. I'm not all that organized, but plan. If something happens to interrupt the plans, I will go with the flow, not weird like that. It's not like I freak out or anything. I just want to be prepared for whatever. I also hate to be late, that's my parents fault. They always told us, "If you're not 5 minutes early, you are late." I have also noticed that the older I get, the more I notice these quirks.
Alex and I had an awesome breakfast this morning at the Wayside Express on 29. We split a livermush and egg sandwich. Soooo, good. If you didn't grow up eating livermush, I'm sorry. My kids have to eat livermush if they want to live in this house ;). Alex got to see two of his favorite people, Mrs. Ellie and Ms. Ginger. Mrs. Ellie works at the On the Go and Ms. Ginger works at the Wayside attached to the On the Go. Wayside has some of the best tea around. Someone asked Alex this morning if it was sweet tea, is there any other kind?

steph - I have to ask- what the heck is liver mush? in my head it sounds like liver in the consistancy of grits?? I was born and raised in the south, but I've never had it!! ;-)
Tyler is OCD too - drawers and doors must be shut. Toys that belong upstairs can't be downstairs etc etc etc!! He does like to pick up though so that works out nicely for me!!
Sharon, Livermush is a Western NC thing. Charlotte/Concord is about the farthest east you can find it. I'm not sure what's in it, and don't ask, just know that it is GOOD fried.
I have those switches in my house and like you they drive me CRAZY! They all have to be in the same position.....
I LOVE livermush with mustard and alot of black pepper on toast.
Yum-O
