Weekend Update

I'm excited that this won't be a very long post. We didn't do that much this weekend. Friday night we went to Joey's birthday party. He's 18 today!

Saturday morning I had a meeting at church. Tiffani is trying to get our church into shape. I'm all for it, cause my butt is getting bigger. (I know it's getting bigger, they took measurements!)She's going to try to get me to run though. I'm just not sure I want to start running, but will give it a try. She had us partner up and Ellie is my partner. That's great, we live close to each other and can get together to walk in the mornings or late afternooons. We also go to Zumba together. Saturday afternoon I had to take some stuff to Sonya in Harrisburg. She comes down here every 2-3 weeks to get her nails done. She gets them done at Utopia and they are awesome!

Sunday was church. I taught my girls and we had a good discussion. Sometimes it's very hard to keep us focused back there, but I love being around them. They are all excited about camp being on the land. I reminded them of the story of Jonah, he disobeyed God's calling to Ninevah and wound up in the belly of a whale. They were being silly and said if we went on to the beach a whale might get us! They got the point though. I'm just excited about my girls right now. They are serving and just getting it! I love them and don't say that lightly! (I think love is a word that gets thrown around to much with no meaning behind it!)

The Taylors need a weekend getaway. If anyone knows of somewhere cheap to go, please let me know. We are open to all suggestions! Brian needs to unplug from work, they called 3 times this weekend, but thankfully he could talk them through it over the phone.

I made a dessert for Jamey's family yesterday. Wanda told me he wanted chocolate pudding and Cool Whip. I have to say, it sounded so good that I got the stuff to make it for us. All you do is layer the pudding and the Cool Whip and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. I got sugar free pudding and fat free Cool Whip for ours. I'm making that this morning. It seems like it would be a good snack and a way to get my daily dose of chocolate without it being to bad for me. (I'm trying Tiffani.) Have you ever compared the sugar free pudding and the regular pudding? All you have to do is pick it up. The regular is much heavier!
