I am loving being away from home. We are on no schedule, have no routine and the kids are exhausted and sleeping like babies! I am letting them sleep in today. I will be ready to get back home though. I miss cooking and not living in a suitcase. I LOVE being able to eat three meals a day with Brian and the kids instead of one maybe two or three times a week.
The kids love being able to go to the pool a couple times a day. They are getting so good at swimming. Alex was jumping in last night and letting me take him under water. That's huge for him. I think they both don't like water in their faces. Brianna is swimming from on end to the other and back without stopping or putting her feet on the floor. The naps they are getting in the afternoons is well worth the hassle of getting them in bathing suits. Brian came and watched them last night. All we heard was, "Daddy watch this" about a million times. They were excited to show him what they could do. Plus, he had the camera, so they wanted him to take their picture.
We went to a BBQ and rib place for supper last night and it was pretty good. It wasn't like Texas Roadhouse, where the meat falls off the bone, but it was good.
