Weekend Update

What a weekend! Friday night we got home around 10 and got everything unloaded and just left it where it was, in the middle of the living room floor.

Saturday, after sleeping until 8:30, we washed clothes, bought groceries and hung out at home. It was so hot here Saturday. I was excited to get back into my kitchen and actually cook supper!

Sunday was church and after church we had ice cream for lunch. It's such a treat for the kids when we do that, we don't do it often, but when we do, it's such a good time. Then we were inside for the day, still hot. Around 8 last night we went out to catch lightening bugs. The kids loved it, Brian even joined in. Alex was very good at catching them. He would go around in circles and the next thing you knew he had a bug in his hand. They put the ones they caught in a plastic jar, then we released them when we were finished.

Brian had to work ALL weekend. It was a big change for the kids after seeing him so much last week. Today we are back into our routine and have already been to the orthodonist office and have to go back next week. Next week also starts swim lessons! The kids are looking forward to that.
