Fill A Bucket

I was in the bank last week and picked up a magazine type thing about Cabarrus County Schools. It had articles about what's going on at some of the schools in the county. There was an article about Brianna's school, A T Allen. After the earthquake in Haiti, the entire school read the book, "Have You Filled a Bucket Today" by Carol McCloud. This book explains that everyone carries an invisible bucket in which we keep our good feelings about ourselves. When our buckets are full, we are happy, when it's empty we are sad. How do you fill someone's bucket? By saying good things about someone. When you say something nice about someone, not only do you fill their bucket, you fill your own. You empty buckets by saying bad things about someone.

So, fill someone's bucket, don't empty it!!!
