Friday night we stayed in.
Saturday we did nothing all day. Brian got up super early before it got hot and cut the grass. When he was finished I sprayed Round Up to kill some weeds. Then, it was nothing but relaxing. Alex has picked up a new word from somewhere. He called Brianna and me a punk all afternoon. For supper we had a Father's Day do-over. We took Brian out to eat. He chose to go to Quaker Steak, we like their wings.
Sunday after church we came home to eat lunch. After lunch we took the kids to the Gem in Kannapolis to see Toy Story 3. It was such a good movie! It was nice and cool in the theatre. What a great way to spend a hot afternoon and you can't beat the price!!! Brian learned to whistle in the car on the way. He's been whistling ever since.

hey - is Toy Story in 3D at gem theater? how much were the tickets per person. i think i'm going to take the kids there to see it. movies are so darn expensive!
