Digits

For the last month the kids have not seen a lot of Brian, especially the last few weeks with Brian's days getting longer. When Alex does, the conversations that happen are hilarious. A couple months ago Brian gave Alex a combination lock to play with. We were at Chick Fil A Monday and Alex found a combination lock in the play room. He told me about it and said if he knew the combination he could open the door. Alex was telling Brian about it this morning. Brian told him sometimes you can open a combination lock without knowing the combination, just try different digits. Of course Alex asked what a digit is. Brian told him it's a number and said, "When you get older, you will be asking girls for their digits."

Alex: "What's that mean?"

Brian: "Their phone number. Woman, give me your digits!" I don't know why, but Brian jokingly calls me woman.

Alex ran around the house yelling, "Woman, where's the digits?"
