Weekend Update

The kids and I had a really good weekend. Brian was in Columbia for class this weekend. Friday afternoon Alex and I baked cookies and brownies for the bake sale. Then we delivered those to Jenny. While we were at Jenny's dog Sandy jumped up in the truck with the kids. Alex thought that was the funniest thing! That night Maranda, Brianna and I went to see The Diary of Anne Frank at Matthews Playhouse. The play was more light hearted than I expected it to be. It was more about the experiences of the families in the annex than about Anne. Before the play we went to The Water Ice Factory. Water Ice is a little thicker than a slushie, you eat it with a spoon. It was good though.

Saturday I woke up with a migraine. I took some Advil and off we went. Brianna has an AIG project due on the 19th and we planned on working on it Saturday afternoon. She needed to pick up some ribbon at Wal Mart, so that was the first thing on the agenda. We then went to the Harrisburg Y's fall festival. We didn't stay long at all. After the festival it was off to the bake sale. The kids got some cookies and brownies. I entered a raffle for a gift card to Wal Mart and WON! So excited. Who can't use a gift card to Wal Mart?!

Sunday on the way home from church there was a lizard on the tool box on the back of the truck. Brianna said she would never play in the back of the truck again! I think he blew off on Roberta Road, poor thing, just couldn't hang on.
