Wednesday nothing very exciting happened around here. Unless you consider getting license renewed and cleaning bathrooms exciting. Though I always feel a weird sense of accomplishment when the bathrooms are clean. I guess it's because I am fighting a losing battle. The kids sink always has dried up toothpaste in it! I clean it and by bedtime, there is the toothpaste.

Thursday was my birthday. I'm the type of person who thinks birthdays are personal holidays. I believe that on your birthday you should only do things you want to do! Now, this is getting harder with the kids getting older and needing different things. Alex played outside most of the day. He has started throwing himself in the floor and kicking his legs when he doesn't get his way. I do believe he has LOST HIS MIND! What does he think is going to happen? He will get his way? Seriously?!?! Has this boy not been living in this house for the last 4 almost 5 years?!?! If you think pitching a fit in this house is going to have you get your way, you are sadly mistaken. What it got him was a one way ticket to his room, where there was more kicking and screaming. I didn't care though.

I also had to take Brianna to her Girl Scout meeting. She really enjoys Girl Scouts. She is probably the shyest kid in her troop, but she's there and she's participating. She is also about to start volunteering with Operation Write Home to earn her leadership badge. She is very excited about this!!! On his way home, Brian picked up Ishi, so I didn't have to cook!! On our way home from getting Brianna, out of the blue, Alex asked Bri, "Brianna do you want to see Jesus?" Now, knowing Alex I couldn't wait to see how he proposed Brianna see Jesus! BUT, it's not what I was thinking. On Brian's iPad he has these movies called The Life of Jesus and that's what he was talking about.

Friday morning started off in a rush! I hate it when we have to rush around. I look forward to mornings where I can take the kids to school in my pajamas, come home, eat breakfast and drink my coffee while I watch GMA. I don't think that has happened since maybe Monday this week. I'm looking forward to maybe Saturday or Sunday when I can drink my coffee in my pajamas, not in the car! Anyway, Brianna got new brackets on her 12 year molars Tuesday. This morning, they were really bothering her. I called the orthodontist, they have emergency hours on Friday. They could see her as soon as I could get up there. So, I rushed through eating my oatmeal and getting ready. We took Zack to school, and headed to the ortho. I made my Wal Mart list sitting in the orthodontist office, took Bri to school and went to buy groceries. I've got laundry to finish and a house to get straightened up before Rock Group at 6:30. I would love to be able to get on the treadmill, but don't know if that will happen or not.
