I took the kids back to Brian at church so Sherry and I could go to Charlotte for lunch and to see Steel Magnolias. We went to Rock Bottom for lunch, had chicken tacos and key lime cheesecake. Their chicken tacos are delish!!! A crunchy blue corn tortilla wrapped with a soft flour tortilla. Mmmm. Not to mention the key lime cheesecake. I think there is lime curd on top, that makes it so good. Haven't figured it out yet. Then we went to see the Steel Magnolias play. The play was wonderful!! The girl who played Anelle was hilarious! Anyway, the play was at Theatre Charlotte.
I was so ready to get home, get my makeup off, get in the shower and get my pajamas on. I put my face cleaner on my hands and hopped in the shower. The next thing I know, I was falling out of the shower!! I hit my back on the toilet, couldn't even get out of the floor!! I yelled for Brian who put his Superman cape on and came to save the day. No lie!! Brian takes the best care of me, especially when I am hurt or sick. He tried to pick me up, but it hurt so bad. We thought I had broken a rib, so off to the ER we went. Lots of x-rays and waiting later and the doctor said I was fine. When Brian and the kids came back to get me Alex had to tell me all about the guy the cops brought in in handcuffs! He was so excited, he didn't want to leave. When I walked through the lobby with them, Alex yelled, "There's the cops Momma and the guy they arrested." We had to tell him he couldn't yell stuff out like that.
I'm letting the kids sleep in late, we didn't get home until almost 11 last night. I think I scared us all! It's not going to kill Bri to be checked in late. Then, I'm going to take some more Advil, I'm allergic to Codeine, so I try to stay away, and lay on the couch.
