Merry Christmas/Happy Birthday

Christmas started early with us going to the Christmas Eve service at church. Alex was VERY excited about a special visitor from the North Pole. He walked around all day Christmas Eve singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Then when the band sang it at church, he sang the whole song at the top of his lungs.
Liz and I hanging out.

The kids spreading their reindeer food.
Brianna's Bop It was big fun. She even took it to Momma's with her and I think we all played it.

Alex in his comstruction gear that Santa brought.
Here is my dad's present from us. It's a signed Sam Bass poster. Sam was even nice enough to draw an extra picture on the side. Sonya snapped a picutre of Sam signing the poster and we had it framed with the poster.
My mom's present. We took all three grandkids to Bobbie to have pictures made. Momma even cried, we all knew she would though.

Cragan watching the snow.
Amos and Brianna being silly. Nana taking in all the chaos.

It snowed a lot on Christmas. Momma and Daddy's power went out about 9:30 Saturday night and didn't come on until 3:30 Sunday afternoon. That's right people about 18 hours without power. We survived though. It actually wasn't bad. Momma cooked on the grill. They have gas logs.

Daddy took both kids for a ride on the four wheeler in the snow.

Sunday afternoon we all headed to the fire department for Alex's birthday party.
He was all excited about opening a gift with batteries in it!

And the head lamp is what the batteries went to.

When we got home we still had snow. Alex was excited that it was still here when he got up on Monday. He said it snowed for his birthday. So, after his birthday pancakes they bundled up and headed out.
After we bought groceries Alex shoveled the back porch for me.
