Weekend Update

Sorry I didn't get this posted Sunday night like I normally do. I was just tired and didn't take the time to post. We had a super busy weekend. Friday night was our Rock Group Christmas party. We had a ton of food and had a fun ornament exchange. Brianna got a Santa ornament and I got a gold bell. Before we ate, Alex was so excited to see Mr. David. He arrested him and locked him in jail. Judge Olivia had mercy on him and let him out so he could eat supper.

Saturday was jam packed. We left home at 9:45 and didn't get home until 2 in the afternoon and then left twice again before we were home for the day. We started out going to meet Sonya in Harrisburg. Then we worked on a Christmas present. I can't wait to tell you the story of this present. I'm always excited about one gift each year. I just can't wait to see it opened!! Brianna had a Girl Scout ornament/craft event at 1. She made all kinds of fun stuff and even won the raffle. While we were running around, it was snowing. I don't remember it snowing like this before Christmas. After getting her home, it was time to start cooking and baking. Brianna and I both made cookies. I will post the recipes later, maybe Wednesday. I've actually got several recipes to share. I also made chocolate covered pretzels, sausage balls, and peppermint bark. I think we finally got finished around 10 Saturday night.

Sunday after church the kids and hussled home to clean and finish up some stuff. At 3 a bunch of ladies came over for a cookie exchange. It was so fun, lots of great cookies and friends. The kids all played nicely. My house was happy having people over both Friday and Sunday.
