Weekend Update

What a busy, busy weekend. I may need a vacation. Friday we were home. We just watched TV and hung out together.

Saturday we went to pick up a propane tank and delivered it to my dad. Someone that Brian knows was selling the tank and Daddy needed it for his gas logs. After we picked up the tank the GPS took us by one of our favorite places to eat, Jim and Nick's. So, we had to stop, it was soooo good. Bri had to deliver Girl Scout cookies and I had to deliver a Thirty One order. Of course we got to play with Cragan while we were there. She is so stinkin cute and thought she was a big kid chasing Alex and Bri through the house. On the way home we had to detour through Shelby. 74 was shut down for some reason, there was a fire of some sort.

Sunday morning we went to church. Jimmy's message was only affair proofing your marriage. While Jimmy was talking Brian said, "The grass ain't always greener on the other side. It's greener where you water it or over a septic tank. Those dandelions look pretty, but they are the Devil's roses." I got the giggles and couldn't stop laughing. After church we went to MexiCasa in Harrisburg to eat. Brian and the kids had never been there. Then we came home for a bit and Bri and I went for a run on the Greenway in Concord. It was nice out and we had a great run together. After our run I came home to make our Valentine's supper of ham, green beans, potatoes for the big people, mac and cheese for the little people and cinnamon sugar love knots. It was delicious!!

To make the love knots just thaw out frozen yeast roll dough and roll into 6 inch pieces. Dip in melted butter and then roll in cinnamon sugar. Let rise for 2 hours. Bake at 350 until golden. I got the recipe from Southern Plate.
