Weekend Update

We had a crazy busy weekend! Friday afternoon Brian came home to a house that was HOT! Our A/C had gone out. It was was stinkin hot in here. I was sweating and grumpy. While I was at a Thirty One party he worked on it. It's such a blessing to have a husband that can fix almost anything.

Saturday we went to Harrisburg to pick up Alex's bunk beds. After we got them home and unloaded Bri and I went out to buy some sheets for his beds. His preference for the color of his sheets was, of course, orange. And, of course, we couldn't find orange sheets. We did find camo, and that was good with Alex. While Bri and I were gone Brian continued to work on the A/C. He figured out what was wrong and got it working! After he finished with the air, Brian and Brianna put together the bunk beds. He got so much done this weekend. I had another Thirty One party that afternoon, but when I got home supper was cooked and the kids had eaten, and Alex was playing on the top bunk of his bed. Brianna wanted to get the game Just Dance for the Wii and when I got home she was playing. There is a New Kids on the Block song on there. Anyway, she and I played Just Dance for about an hour. I bet her about 10 times out of 11! She got a little mad that I kept beating her!

Sunday Brian had video at church. After first service Alex got a much needed haircut. He was getting super shaggy. Then we went to Matthews with Sherry, Amy and Amy's girls to see a production of Disney's The Jungle Book. It was really good. It was a kid's production and they did such a good job with all of the singing and dancing. I was so ready to come home Sunday afternoon and in my pajamas. I may need to take today off to recuperate from the weekend.
