Good Kid

Brianna is basically a good kid. But, with Alex's behavior problems last week and her having some behavior problems this week I'm about worn out! She hasn't really been pitching a fit, she just hasn't been doing what I ask her to do. Every time I tell her to do something, I get a no and she just doesn't do it. She also ignores Alex when he asks her questions or even speaks to her.

She's been wanting a cell phone all year. It seems like she is one of the few kids in her class that doesn't have one. I told her we would really talk about it before she starts middle school. I've heard other mom's that a cell phone is really good to have in middle school. Brian ordered her one Sunday. That's right she's got a phone on the way. Be ready for some serious texting, because she loves to on mine. I think she and my mom had a big long conversation over text on Sunday. I informed her yesterday that if her attitude doesn't change and if she doesn't start doing what I tell her to do, the cell phone is mine! I actually told her that we won't even open the box when it gets here this afternoon. So, this morning she was VERY agreeable. She got her stuff done, without any attitude! It's amazing what a $10 phone can do. It may be the best punishment tool we have!
