Weekend Update

Oh my gosh, what a weekend!!! Friday afternoon I told Alex to go clean his room before rock group. He looked at me and yelled, "I object." I told him he was overruled to get in there and get it cleaned. He watches Young and the Restless with me in the afternoons and there is a trial going on on there so he's picking up lawyer words. We had a great time at rock group Friday. I'm trying to figure out a way to talk the powers that be into letting Jeff sing In the Ghetto on Sunday.

Saturday we had to go to Siemens to pick up a propane tank someone sold to Daddy. Then we went to pick up the rest of our bedroom furniture. It's all in!!! It looks so good in here now. We cleaned out and put stuff up all day yesterday. We laughed a lot at ourselves, or mainly at me and my lack of arm strength! Brian said we were like the 2 Stooges! We had a HUGE TV on our old dresser and decided instead of putting it back we would put it by the street and put a free sign on it. It was so heavy, Brian walked it through the living room and put some cardboard on the steps for us to slowly slide it down them. He got it on the back of the truck and we put it by the street. Within 5 minutes the people down the street (the same people that got our couch when we put it by the street for trash pick up) were out there. Now they are both tiny people. But, they had that TV going across the street to their house like they stole the darn thing. Brian said he wasn't going to move it again, but he went out to help them with it. It was hilarious.

Sunday we were so tired we slept most of the morning. Bri even fixed lunch for her and Alex. After we finally got up and going we went over to Frank Liske where the mobile Vietnam memorial was. We got a lot accomplished this weekend. Someone will come pick up our old furniture tomorrow. I will post a picture of the current state of our kitchen and living room later. I've also got a video of Alex dancing to share. It's hilarious.
