Weekend Update

We had a really god weekend. Friday we had Cragan all day. She is so much fun! I never thought I would love another kid like I love my own kids, but she came along and proved me wrong. Friday night we had Rock Group. There was a smaller turnout, but we had a good time all the same. Ellie even got to come and she hasn't been here for RG in several months.

Saturday morning I ran a 5K. My time wasn't a good as I would have liked, but I finished! My WW leader, Amy, stayed with me the whole way. 3 miles is a long way when you are running/walking it. Then it was home for a super quick shower and get ready for the Siemens Easter Egg Hunt. They had the hunt inside the cafeteria since the weather was bad. Cragan was a little scared of the bunny they had walking around. He gave her a chocolate egg anyway. She kept scratching it with her finger and licking them! Because I wouldn't let them eat the chocolate until after lunch. After the hunt we met up with Sonya and Amos to give Cragan back. I think Sonya was ready to see Cragan.

Sunday afternoon Brian had to work, so the kids and I went shopping. Brianna wanted a dress to wear for Easter and we have a wedding to go to later in the month that she wanted a dress for. She also needed some shorts for school. I am now on the hunt for a dress to wear to the wedding at the end of the month. I picked up a shirt for Alex that looks like the ones Brian wears to work. He put it on in the dressing room and started saying he looked like a grown man. When we got home Hannah, from up the street, came down to play with Bri. They are about the same age and seem to play well together. Alex gets mad when Hannah comes to play because he doesn't have anyone to play with.
