Girl Scouts is over for the year! Tonight is the last awards ceremony, Alex doesn't want to go and asked if he can stay home by himself. Bri has to speak about her work with Operation Write Home and about her Bronze Award project. She has already written what she wants to say and she did a really good job.

Our family has become protective of the bluebird babies. We are all watching them out windows and leaving sunflower seeds on the rail outside the house. Alex said if we leave her seeds she won't have to go far to get food for the babies. Brian scared off other birds that were eating the seeds we left out. When the storm woke me up a couple nights ago, I said a prayer of protection for the babies.
