Weekend Update

We had a really good weekend! Friday Brian took the day off work. After working last weekend, he needed it! He and Alex toodled around for a while, I enjoyed a quiet house!! It's been so long since the house was quiet and I was by myself, I almost didn't know what to do with myself. ALMOST! I picked Bri up from school a little early and we all headed to Concord Mills. Brian and the kids got me a gift card to Bed, Bath and Beyond and Old Navy for Mother's Day.

Saturday we went over to the University area to go to Old Navy. The Old Navy at The Mills is an outlet and sometimes their selection is not the best, other times I can find more than I need. Then we came home for the afternoon. Maranda came over before prom. She looked so beautiful that Alex handcuffed her and didn't want to let her go! Maranda and Bri.

Sunday Brian had video at church. After he got home we hung out at home for a bit. Then we took the kids to find Geo Caches. It's kind of like a treasure hunt. You get GPS coordinates from a website and you go on your hunt. Sometimes you just sign a piece of paper that you were there, other times there are small toys that you can get. If there are toys, the rule is: if you take one, you give one. We found 5! That may be the most we have found in one day. We haven't tried to find one since Alex was a baby. He loved it! My job is to stay in the car. I was really hoping they would go earlier in the day and I would stay home by myself.

It was so nice to have a relaxed weekend with nothing to do! I will post some pictures from last week soon!
