Weekend Update

We had a busy weekend. Friday Bri had a doctor's appointment for her well child check up and two shots. She was not happy about getting shots. Then we went to the mall for a bit. Alex was so tired we came home and he took a nice long nap and was ready to go buy groceries when he got up. After supper I took the kids to the pool. I knew how busy we were going to be over the weekend and that they wouldn't get to go for a couple days.

Saturday I went to Central's graduation. It was such a nice ceremony. It was quick though. I guess since all the ceremonies are held at the arena, it has to be quick, but man! So proud of the three girls from church who graduated Saturday. Momma's neighbor Adrienne also graduated Saturday. We didn't get to make it, but are so proud of her!

Sunday after church we made a Wal Mart run. I needed to get a gift for a baby shower. Then it was home where Brian grilled pizzas for lunch. Then Bri and I went to the baby shower. The cake was so, so cute! After the shower we came home to pick up the boys to head to a graduation party. Alex played like a crazy man! Thankfully we were at a park where there was plenty of room to run and play.

I learned last night that my second and third grade teacher passed away. She is probably the reason I decided to become a teacher myself. She had a huge impact on my life. When I recall memories of elementary school, they normally involve her and her class.

Big changes are coming for the Taylor's. Please be praying for us.

I made a good, quick recipe last week that I keep forgetting to post. So here it is:

Bubble Up Pizza Casserole

2 packages of refrigerated biscuit dough, 12-15 biscuits.
1 jar pizza sauce
Pepperoni
Mozzarella
Any other toppings you may like

Preheat oven according to directions on the biscuit dough. Cut the biscuits into quarters. Put in a large bowl, add all other ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake according to directions on the dough.

So easy, it's perfect for busy weeknights.
