Weekend Update

What a crazy busy weekend. Friday night we had Rock Group. Friday was probably the most relaxed day of the weekend.

Saturday we went to look at houses. It was a long exhausting day. But, we learned a lot. We learned what we want in a house and what we don't want. We also learned the term "short sale." We went to Jim and Nick's for lunch. I had a beef brisket sandwich with fried green tomatoes! I asked our waitress about the area and about schools. She was super nice and answered our questions and even chatted for a bit, we were her only table at the time. We found out she is from Mt. Pleasant!! We saw her again Sunday in Food Lion, she was visiting her parents in Mt. Pleasant. When we got home Bri went to spend the night with her friend Lexi. Bri and Lexi are hilarious together. They sent me a picture of themselves with a face mask of oatmeal, baby powder, flour and something else, they had cucumbers on their eyes. They are hilarious!

Sunday after church we ran to Food Lion and home for lunch. Bri and I went to Becca and Kaylee's play at Old Courthouse Theatre. It was a Shakespeare play and Bri was totally lost! I wasn't totally lost, but almost. I made a brick chicken with potato salad and a cucumber salad for Brian's Father's Day supper. OH YUM! It was so, so good. The chicken and potato salad recipes were from Emeril's cooking segment on GMA Friday. It was also the first time I had cooked with fresh herbs! I would love to have an herb garden, maybe when we get in the new house. A couple came by to look at our house to possibly rent it. By today I am so tired of looking at houses, neighborhoods, and numbers. I know we have to, so we can get this accomplished quickly, but it's tiring.
