Weekend Update

What a testosterone filled weekend! Friday Alex and I were at the pool most of the day. I made a quick supper of shrimp and pasta. After supper Alex and I were tired after being in the pool for the afternoon. We played Candy Land (Alex cheats) and we watched a movie.

Saturday morning we waited around for a guy to come look at some stuff that needs to be fixed around the house. Our rails need to be replaced and our back door needs some work. The guy got behind and couldn't make it Saturday. Brian and I decided to take Alex to the GEM to see Cars 2. For less than $20 all three of us got into the movie, had a large popcorn, a large drink, and 2 packs of M&Ms. Seriously, I got $20 out of the ATM and we had change when we left the movies!! The GEM is the greatest place!! When we left the movies Kannapolis was having a Cruise In. Of course, the boys wanted to walk and see the cars. Alex found a truck with tires as big as him. Sunday I had a Thirty One party, so Brian was on Daddy Duty. After supper we went over passed Concord Mills to pick up some boxes we got off FreeCycle. I just hate to pay money for boxes to just recycle them when we get finished with them.

Bri comes home Wednesday. I had planned on her coming home today, but we are keeping Cragan for Sonya Wednesday and Bri is going to come with them.
